HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- ✅ Consonants (including the tricky ones: filho, minha, carro, caro, and the palatalization of the d and t - e.g. dia, noite.)
✅ Oral vowel sounds (avô, avó, você, pé, etc.)
✅ Oral diphthongs: 2 vowels - letters or sounds - in the same syllable. (e.g. pai, rei, pau, etc.)
✅ Oral triphthongs: 3 vowels - letters or sounds - in the same syllable. (e.g. averiguei / I ascertained)

Fernando Nonohay Nonohay
My name is Fernando, and I’m a Brazilian Portuguese teacher, translator, and interpreter based in London, UK. I was born in Porto Alegre, the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. After graduating from university, I first visited London as a tourist and loved it so much that I returned to train professionally in teaching, translation, and interpreting.
With over 20 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of helping many people learn Brazilian Portuguese. Teaching is my passion, and I’m proud to have worked with clients such as British Airways, the BBC, Sotheby’s, Fine Line Film Distribution, and many others.

Most effective course I've tried

Great course!!
Coming from a Germanic language some of the sounds in Brazilian Portuguese is very un-natural. However Fernando use a methodical and step -by-step approach which breaks it down to pieces that will make you master the pronunciation with enough practice. Well done!!

This course is really fun and helpful! He breaks everything down in little chapters explaining how to pronounce it with visual and auditory lessons. The lessons are 4-10minutes long, and at the end you have practice exercises to help retain the information. This course has really helped me with my "mush mouth" speech.
